A consultancy service is provided on those aspects of arboriculture, silviculture, ecology, and landscape management which come within Mr Helliwell’s range of expertise.  These include:

• Surveys of the condition and safety of trees

• Problems related to tree roots

• Advice on continuous cover woodland management

• Survey, evaluation, and management of other types of vegetation

• Habitat transference and creation

• Amenity valuation of trees and woodlands

Mr Helliwell is experienced in giving evidence in court and at public inquiries, and has attended select committee hearings in both Houses of Parliament.
